Personalization solution and card conversion according to EMV standard

Card personalization is the process of inputting and managing the personal information of the cardholder on various types of cards, such as payment cards, debit cards, and ATM cards, using different techniques. With HMSTECH’s card personalization system, banks can set up a high-quality payment account (credit, debit, ATM) for each individual customer almost instantly. In addition to personalizing information, ensuring the security of data and information for each customer is also a critical concern for banks and financial institutions.
Previously, the majority of cards used in the financial and banking sector in Vietnam applied magnetic stripe security technology, commonly known as magnetic stripe cards. Reputable organizations worldwide have advised countries on the necessity to transition from low-security magnetic stripe cards to high-security chip cards following the EMV standard.

The EMV Perso-SmartOne solution is a Client/Server structured system, where card information and security data are managed on the server. Banks/individuals can configure desired client machines to support either central issuance (connecting to high-volume printers) or instant issuance (connecting to desktop printers). The SmartOne solution also simultaneously supports both central card issuance and on-the-spot card issuance.
